My wife and I discovered this beautiful little Bisto on one of our many walks through Paris, and it was the best find of our trip.We stepped into, 'Au Bistot D'A Cote' at 12.55 pm and by 13.10 pm the place was full and buzzing with the local natives. The waiter spoke excellent English and was very polite, (we were the only English persons there)The menu was written on a blackboard which I suspect changes daily and the waiter explained what each of the dishes were, he laughed when discribing the tripe dish, saying, it's only the French that like that!! I had the fillet of Pork with a cream and mustard sauce served with a buttery tagliatelle and green beans and my wife had the steak tartar served with frites, both were amazing and the portions were huge, for dessert we had cafe gourmand which is a coffee served with 4 small sweat treats and I had the apple flan with ice cream and we shared a bottle of Fleurie. The bill was just under 70 euros and we would highly recomend this place to all visitors to Paris.
